Vom Umschlagtext:

At last, Bjo Trimble's legendary Star Trek Concordance has been updated for a whole new generation! With thousands of facts, and hundreds of inspired illustrations, this book will be a source of delight and a fount of knowledge for even the most scholarly and devoted fan.

Praise for the new edition:

„Nobody knows more about Star Trek than Bjo Trimble. She's taught me a thing or two and I love that!“

- William Shatner

„Mind-numbingly detailed, brain-warpingly galactic, eye-burningly intensive, teeth-achingly expansive and, above all, chimerically indispensable.“

- George Takei

„I'm delighted to see this Concordance, which will teach readers a great deal about the universe as it really is -- and as it might be.“

- Arthur C. Clarke

„Bjo's Concordance has been a definitive reference source for virtually everyone working on Star Trek, including myself. It's a delight to have her updated, expanded edition.“

- Michael Okuda, author of The Star Trek Encyclopedia

„Bjo's tenacious research and dedication have resulted in a wonderfully detailed look into the Star Trek universe. I happily recommend Star Trek Concordance to anyone looking for insight and understanding of Gene's creation.“

- David Alexander, author of Star Trek Creator: The Authorized Biography of Gene Roddenberry

„Bjo's knowledge, interest and passion for the Star Trek universe has made this latest work an invaluable edition to any Star Trek fan's collection...“

- Dan Madsen, president and publisher Star Trek: The Official Fan Club

„Get a clue. Get a life. Get this book. This dazzlingly comprehensive compendium is another one of the many debts that Trek fans owe Bjo Trimble. But at least this is one debt that can easily be paid off. Even at twice the price, a Ferengi would consider it a steal.“

- Peter David, author of Q-in-Law and Q-Squared

Bjo Trimble widmete dieses Buch, welches offiziell erst 1977 herausgegeben wurde, drei Personen: Gene Roddenberry for creating Star Trek in the first place, John Trimble for believing I could get this book together, Martin LeVita for making certain that I did it!

Hintergrundinformationen[]
